Little robots in friendly plastic
LEGO Robotics
The LEGO Mindstorms RCX and NXT are two of the most widely available robotics platforms today. Reconfigurable and programmable in a variety of languages, we are excited to now provide users the ability to write programs in occam-pi for these little platforms.
Being able to easily manage concurrency and parallelism is a huge benefit to robotics, and if you're interested in exploring occam-pi on a small, friendly robotics platform, then we recommend you keep reading.
LEGO Mindstorms RCX
We have
a complete API for the LEGO Mindstorms RCX. The port, developed by Jon Simpson, gives you a Transterpreter tailored for the RCX as well as a library of routines for interacting with sensors and motors on the brick.
The Mindstorms has its own page with links to documentation and further detail. Enjoy!
LEGO Mindstorms NXT
While we hate to say "coming soon", we have to say "coming soon." The port to the NXT is far easier than the RCX, and we're starting on that next.
